Terms of Use

Welcome to Officer Properties. By accessing or using our aircraft leasing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By renting or leasing an aircraft from Officer Properties, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. Qualifications & Requirements

To lease an aircraft from Officer Properties, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Possess a valid Private Pilot Certificate or higher.
  • Possess a current Medical Certificate (or BasicMed).
  • Maintain current flight reviews and proficiency as required by the FAA.
  • Complete a mandatory check ride with an approved instructor prior to your first solo rental.
  • Sign a rental agreement and liability waiver.

3. Aircraft Usage

The aircraft (Cessna 172M) is leased for personal, recreational, or business use only. Commercial operations (carrying passengers or property for compensation or hire) are strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing and in compliance with all FAA regulations. The pilot in command (PIC) is solely responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and compliance with all FARs.

4. Scheduling & Cancellation

Reservations are subject to availability. Cancellations must be made within the timeframe specified in your rental agreement to avoid penalties. Officer Properties reserves the right to cancel or reschedule reservations due to maintenance, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.

5. Payment & Security Deposit

Payment for rental time is due upon completion of the flight or as agreed upon in the rental contract. A security deposit or credit card authorization may be required prior to rental. You are responsible for any additional fees incurred, such as landing fees, tiedown fees, or fuel surcharges (if applicable beyond the "wet" rate).

6. Insurance & Liability

Officer Properties maintains insurance coverage for the aircraft. However, renters may be responsible for deductibles or damages not covered by the policy. It is highly recommended that renters carry their own non-owned aircraft insurance (renter's insurance). You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Officer Properties from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the aircraft.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Oklahoma.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of our services following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms of Use.
